Is there any way of approving a workflow task by editing the current item? We have a system that sends out a lot of tasks to ether multiple people or multiple tasks to one person.or two people. We have found that people will go onto the list, edit and 'close off' items but don't reply to the lazy option on the task email. I could only see an option to approve the task once a date has been reached? Ideally when they flag the item as 'addressed' on the form I would like the workflow to auto approve. Is this possible or not?

You could have another workflow on the list that has a conditional start on 'Close off' and approves the tasks associated to the item using the Nintex Web Service or just terminate the current workflow.
