Hi,

I have a Role set up based on a SmartObject list method. I am using this Role as destination user in an activity. How can I pass the SmartMethod parameter from the destination user wizard ?

I’m not sure if I understand correctly. Don’t think you can pass parameters when using the role and SMO this way, this will need to be done using a SmO event using filters. This is if I understand correctly. You want to pass a parameter for the role SmO to search / filter on that?

if I’m missing the point can you please elaborate?

Hi Technie,

You can't pass parameter to your SmartObject method during Runtime if you use a role set up based on a SmartObject. The parameter is set when you create the role and can't be changed dynamiccaly.

Alternatively, you can call your GetLIst SmartObject method directly from your destination rule without using a role. the use of K2 role based on a SmartObject method is dedicated to specific needs with slots.
