Sending a notified message to the department which raised the request

I am working on a breakdown repair report. There are 5 departments and whenever there is a breakdown the department fills the form and submits. I configured the workflow, so whenever there is a breakdown the repair team recieves the mail. (Picture attached below)

I want to send a "notified mail" to the department whenever repair team opens the form.Additionally, is it possible to change the status of the column when the breakdown team opens the form in another column.

@Emiway21 I may need a bit more context. You should be able to trigger a workflow when a new form is submitted.  This can route to the correct department chosen on the form. Secondly if someone edits the firm, you can have a status column they update that triggers a secondary workflow to do something else as well.


 


Just depends on what you want. All are doable.
