Office 365 update item permission


I have a  customer use  Nintex Workflow for Office 365 product.

The workflow using "Office 365 Update Item Permission"

The workflow is working fine with internal account (Office 365 account).

Otherwise, the workflow is suspended with external account.

Error message: The entered and stored passwords do not match

So, "Office 365 Update Item Permission" action required internal account to authenticate, right?

Please help me to explain.
