Multiline text box used for comments - not appending

on-premise the multiline textbox appends but doesn't appear to in o365.

Have I missed something or is this a shortcoming of o365 nintex forms shortly to be added?

Cheers

Julian

@julesnye can you share more about "appends"? I'm not sure I know what you mean. Or show a screenshot.

Maybe take a look at the column settings for the multi-line column in SharePoint and see if the append is selected.

Re: Multiline text box used for comments - not appending

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion but the sharepoint column settings has been set to append and it seemed to work for maybe 3 or 4 times then it would blank out/lose the previous historical comments.

I've managed to get around it by creating a couple of extra columns and developing a workflow to feed from these into the append column which appears to work,

Hmm.. Maybe try making the form control a little bigger to see if that helps. Not quite sure why it would lose things, but something to thin about. Your workaround would be another ideal step also.
