Symptoms
I was trying to implement escalation for some workflow activities and got the below error message when trying to compile:
The escalation action 'DefaultEscalation' on activity 'DefaultActivity' cannot use the activity instance destination user because it is not available on Activity Level.
Any idea why it's there?
I would like to send the reminder only to the users who haven't approved that workflow step.
Diagnoses
That can happen when a client sets the escalation rule on the activity.
Resolution
Instead, set the escalation on the client event.
