How to authenticate the DocuSign connection from Nintex Workflow for Office 365?
Instructions
- Within the DocuSign actions, there is an 'Authorizing user' field.
- DocuSign will send an authentication email to the user specified in the 'Authorizing user' field.
- Once they authenticate Nintex for Office 365, the app will stay authenticated until the workflow is updated and re-published, at which point another authentication email will be sent.

What happens in the authorization process?
- When the action runs, an email with the below content is sent to the email address selected for the Authorizing user.
From: notification@nintexlive.com
Subject: Contains phrases "Nintex Live" and "Request authorization".
Contents: Contains links to authorize or deny the operation.
- When the link to provide authorization is clicked the user is prompted to do the following:
- Log in to the external service.
- Allow Nintex Live to access the external service.
- Option to stop receiving future authorization requests for the service.
What happens if authorization is not provided?
If the authorization is not provided for one of the following reasons, the workflow is suspended.
- The authorizing user denies the authorization request by:
- Clicking the deny link in the email received.
- Not allowing Nintex live to access the external service.
The workflow is suspended with the error "The service request has been denied".
- Authorization is not provided within 7 days after the authorization request is sent.
- The authorizing user never clicks the authorize link in the email message.
- The authorizing user initiates the process by clicking the link but does not complete all steps. For example, the authorizing user logs in to the external service but does not complete the step to allow Nintex Live to access the external service.
The workflow is suspended with the error "The service request has expired".
