How do I make a list workflow that runs when a list is updated

I have never worked with workflows or Sharepoint before, so there are many things I do not know. I have an assignment in Sharepoint Online in which I created a repository using a list. In this repository, people manually enter certain instructions as well as their current status: "Incomplete" or "Complete"

I now want to create a second list that shows all the instructions whose status value is "Incomplete". I believe creating a workflow is the correct solution, but I have no idea how to make the workflow run every single time the repository is updated. (It's probably something small that I am missing).

Any leads, ideas, or general helpful information/links are greatly appreciated.

Hi,
In the Nintex Workflow designer navigate to the Workflow Settings from the ribbon.
Enable "Start when items are modified" option.
The workflow will start when items are modified.
