Is there any way to bind the people picker up control with a sharepoint group. The people picker group should only be resolving names that are mapped with a particular sharepoint group.
Please note the people control form field is mapped with a single line text type column in the associated list rather a user/group field.

There is a specific SmartObject available for SharePoint that is keyed specifically to SharePoint users and groups. If you use the Groups SmartObject under SharePoint Management, there is a method called Get User for Group that should allow you to filter things.
