Hi,

We are using Quest - Content Matrix to migrate Nintex workflow from onpremise (SP2010) to o365.

For complex Nintex workflow, getting below error while importing Nintex workfow.

{"correlationId":"438b1928-0ce8-4cce-8fde-4e5f3e4f26ec","code":"NW-1013","message":"The workflow is not valid and cannot be interpreted."}

There are certain activities present in the on-premise SP2010 workflow which is not available/depricated in SharePoint online but workflow should be imported (saved) at least. It can't be published due to unsupported activities that we agree.

Note: We are not gettign above error for small workflow. so we are suspecting that it should be with complex workflow and unsupported activities.

Can you please suggest in which case below error can occur?

code":"NW-1013","message":"The workflow is not valid and cannot be interpreted

We are trying to do the exactly the same (products and platforms) and encountering similar issues. Quest's support is trying their best but there are many differences between the Workflow Actions and even the properties of the same Actions between the two platforms.

This results in an entire sequence of Actions along an execution path not appearing in the resultant Workflow. If you have dependencies on those Actions later in the Workflow then it's no surprise that the import can report issues.

In the end, I have to resort to propagating the Workflows using the classic technique of side-by-side manual definition recreation.
