I have discovered that when processing a workflow on a document library, the new modern UI poses an issue. Either the workflow fails due to incomplete information (since technically once the file has uploaded, the workflow launches) or it does not launch at all. This is somewhat due to speed of entry by the user. While I can place a Pause on the workflow, it is not the most efficient approach. In the interim I have instructed users to use the classic view but this will not be supported much longer. Has anyone else experienced this and what would be a best practice recommendation?
Nintex has noted that there is an underlying issue with Microsoft and are currently investigating this issue. I have been advised that adding the Pause in the workflow is the most viable workaround until they have a solution from MS.
