DateDiff in o365 form

Jump to solution

I'm sure this is a big newbie question.

I want to display the date difference between two dates.

I placed a calculated value field on my form and set the formula to : dateDiffdays(StartDate,EndDate) <StartDate and EndDate are entered on the form.  They are columns in my list>

preview the form.  Enter my start and end date. My calculated value field just stares at me... kind of unnerving.  Show me the date difference!

Thanks for your help!

Are you using Named Controls or Connected to fields from field settings? Use Named Controls and check it.

It all looks the same but a different result.

The list where the named fields (startdate, enddate) are defined.

This is how the form is configured

I saw both fields and controls names are same, but when you writing formula for calculated field what you selected 'item properties' or 'named controls'.

please select references from 'named controls'.
