Need to display the Department name (ex. IT, R&D, Accounting) and the Position name instead of just the list number related to the option selected. Any ideas what I am missing? Thanks in advance.
When using List lookup control to create cascading drop downs, the value of the chosen dropped down option is not displayed on Sharepoint list after form is submitted. The Sharepoint list displays the ID number related back to the Sharepoint list use
I figured out the problem. Not sure why this was not working correctly the first few times I tried this but, the field needing to be connected was the "Text Connected To" in the List Lookup control settings. Now I see the correct department name as needed. 
I know I tried to set that field before and it did not work. Not sure what was going on but glad it is working correctly now
