K2 SmartForm URLs are using plus (+) signs instead of (%20) for spaces

Hello, 

 

When a user clicks on a link from a K2 Email Notification to complete a task the spaces in the URL are being replaced with a (+) plus sign.  This is causing the user to receive and error message: 

 

"You cannot access this site due to an internal error." 

 

Error URLhttp://www.oursharepointserver.com/Runtime/Runtime/Form/Case+Study+Request/

 

Correct URLhttp://www.oursharepointserver.com/Runtime/Runtime/Form/Case%20Study%20Request/

 

If a user replaces the (+) plus sign with the (%20) then he/she is able to access the form with no problems.  I am using the K2 control to insert the Worklist Item Link inside of the email that is sent to the user. 

 

Any recommendations on how to fix this issue?
