I've run into a few cases where the user has asked to redirect the activity back to them because they entered wrong data. However it's not possible when the workitem has been completed.
Cleaning up the workitem data of completed item is painful and not supported.
It'd be useful to be able to re-activate a given workitem using a different variant of GotoActivity through the management console.

Please log this as a Feature with K2 Support. Once a instance is completed all data is removed and no traces of this instance exist in the Transaction db (K2Server). Only K2 ServerLog will contain info on the instance for reporting purposes.

Submitted the feature request with K2 Support and added the following suggestion:
Have a configuration that data remains on Transaction db for a few days (so it's easier to reactivate them) but mark the status as Completed.
