I have a list and a library in SPO. In a library I have a single site content type with a custom Word template. Once the item is created in the list the workflow creates a document in a document library. All properties are properly copied over but the Word document is blank. The workflow is not using the template from the content type. Why? How do I fix it?

I just got the response from Nintex Support that this is the expected behavior. Their Create List Item action is just a wrapper for the the SharePoint Workflow action that behaves that way.

We are looking for solution for the given limitation. is anyone proposed how to-overcome with the issue mentioned above?
I also have the same requirement, it was working properly in Nintex for SharePoint 2013, but after migrating to online, does not work with Nintex for O365, "Create List Item" action does not show "Content Type" option as it shows in Nintex for SharePoint 2013.
