AD User Groups not showing in K2 Studio or Visual Studio

When we try to add users from the AD group USERS in Visual Studio 2012 and K2 Designer (Fig1 and 2) that group is not visible however the AD group User is visible in K2 Web Designer

We see [Users and Groups.Get E-mail For User.E-mail] when adding the user.
 

Resolution

Please use the "Search" option to find the necessary Users/Groups, as the "User Browser" will only list a default max total of 100 entries from Active Directory (this is the recommended setting because if you have a lot of users/groups in your domain, listing all of them can result in performance issues and using the "Search" option is recommended).

This is expected behavior if you drag and drop/add the user selected to an "Email" type field (it will attempt to return an email address for you) or if you select the Email field belonging to this user object. If you were to add the top User node to the "Destination Users" configuration wizard, I believe it will show up as a variable that looks like "K2:DomainUserName".
