How can I use a workflow to create a list item in another list that the user doesn't have access to? I was under the impression that I can achieve that using the Action Set and check the Run contained actions at elevated app permissions. Is doesn't seem to be working. Is this even possible in O365?
I would have though using an action set with elevated permissions would have worked. Try the Office 365 Create List Item or Document Set action instead and make sure the connection being used has access to the list.
After digging a little deeper I realized that users didn't have permissions to write to Workflow History list. After fixing it everything works as expected with elevated permissions. Thanks!
