I need assistance in configuring the "Office 365 Update Item Permissions" action. I want to set permissions for multiple users in one run but without using a Sharepoint or Security group.

Means I have different variables with stored email addresses which I want to insert in the "users" field inside the action.

It works if I add one variable (text) with one user, but it does not work with multiple users.

The documentation tells me I can add one or more users but it does not tell me which separator to use or if they need to be in one variable.

The users or groups that will have permission to access the item.
  • If User selected as Target, specify one or more email addresses.
  • If Group selected as Target, specify one or more SharePoint group names.

So please can anyone help me how to configure the action so I can set permissions for multiple users in one run? What separator to use?

Thank you in advance!

Have you try to use only one varaible, and separate all your use email par a ; (semicolon).

The separator of mutli user/email is always a semicolon

Hi Nico,

thanks for your reply I think this did the trick. I did't try this before, because I thought it might be the same as variable1; variable2, ...

But you are right, all in one variable and he knows what I want!

Thank you very much!
