We've got a SmartObject that we'd like to turn on the unique property for a field. When I try this, I get the message that I cannot because the SmartObject already has data in it. Is there any way around this? I'd prefer to not have to go to all of our Save events and put functionality in that prevents users from saving duplicate records.
