Is there an out-of-the-box SmartObject available that could be used to get a user's worklist? The Activity Instance Destination SmartObject is close, but it doesn't include a link to the task... I basically need all of the information that is used on the out-of-the-box task list.

Not sure if this will help, but have you looked at the Worklist Service on blackmarket? http://www.k2underground.com/groups/worklist_service_broker/default.aspx.
