Has anyone used getQueryStringParameter() in a NWC form yet?

Hi,

I'm interested in using the new getQueryStringParameter() formula in NWC form variables.

Not sure how this would work though as the form URL is generated by Nintex.

Has anyone used this formula to populate form fields in NWC yet? Would love to hear on your approach.

Cheers

Hi @IsaiahGonzalez

I have used it in a proof of concept for a sign in / sign out solution.

Single start form which in 'new mode' is a sign in form.

This saves an item in the sharepoint list with a GUID.

The workflow emails the sign in person with an email which includes a query string parameter of the GUID.

If the person opens the nintex start form with the query string parameter, the form rules change the form behaviour to be a sign out event. Basically the form is prefilled with sign out information for that person.

Happy to share the workflow export with you.

Cheers,

Gavin

Ah I see, so you use Nintex variables to create the URL with the parameters using values from a previously filled out Nintex form. Awesome!

I'd love to see the workflow export mate. If you don't want to post it here, my email is nintex@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au
