Issue

After moving the K2 database from SQL 2012 to SQL 2016, the following error appears:

 

"61012 Exception from message source [Email]: System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Anonymous Request Disallowed."

Symptoms

This issue was caused by a missing password in the EWS Connection String.

Troubleshooting Steps

To resolve this issue:

  • Update the password in the ConnectionStringEditor located in [K2 blackpearlHost ServerBin]
  • Restart the K2 Service.
