Data from SharePoint On-Premises not syncing to Nintex Analytics

Issue

No data, or only some data, is being synchronized to Nintex Analytics from a SharePoint On-Premises environment.

Resolution

The timer jobs that synchronize SharePoint On-Premises workflow data to Nintex Analytics requires the following services to be running on the Central Administration server:

• Central Administration
• Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application
• Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Workflow Timer Service

For servers that are not running Central Administration, please ensure that the following services are paired (i.e. one is not running without the other):

• Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application
• Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Workflow Timer Service

Additional Information

In some MinRole deployments, the Central Administration server may not allow the Web Application or Workflow Timer services to be run. To maintain compliance with MinRole, the Central Administration service can be moved to another server that is already running the Web Application and Workflow Timer services.
