Differences in Create List Item and Office 365 Create List Item

When coming from Nintex for SharePoint on-prem, why would you use the Office 365 Create List Item or Document Set action vs. the Create List Item action within your workflow design?

The Office 365 Create List Item action allows you to create items in lists outside of your current site, vs. the out of the box Create List Item which only allows you to create items on lists within the current site.
