I have a form that is pulling choice fields from a SharePoint list and I have the order for the choices set in the field properties. however, when the smartform is sorting them automatically and i do not want that. i do not see of a way to stop this from happening, can someone tell me if there is a way to stop this?

The default order of items pulled from the list is the order they were created. To change this to a custom order by another collumn you would go to the form initialize rule and go to the line that is Populating the control. If you hit configure on this rule you see a button at the top for sort. click add and add your order field and choose ascending or descending. You can also just choose the primary field or a date field. It depends on your needs,
