Hey everyone,

I got an issue when i want to choose list to update list item in K2 Studio.

I have a workflow built in 2010 blackpearl, moved into 2016 blackpearl environment and i cannot connect to my SP2016 list. Searching around found that "Sharepoint Item Url" is applicable to 2007/2010 versions. Moving on i would like to pick "Update List" from Sharepoint 2013 - List Events in order to update a field in my sp list. When SmartWizard pops up , i choose use list and the dropdown is empty. Anyone faced it before?

Any suggestions? I am pretty new to Sharepoint 2016 Blackpearl.

Hi bro,

The SharePoint 2010 events will NOT work in the K2 for SharePoint 2013 app.

The reason is that K2 uses two completely different Service Brokers for SP2010 vs SP2013.

I recommend you rebuild all K2 apps that were made for SP2010 over to SP2013, because from K2 Five onwards, SP2010 is not supported anymore at all, and if you want to stay in a supported state, then you'll need to migrate over to minimum SP2013, although maybe start thinking about migrating to SP2016.

Here is some documentation you can read:

Thanks a lot for your time. Well i am still curious. I dont want to make use of SP2010 events, only 2013 events. So why aren't smart objects for list populated in Update List Item 2013 Event? (2010 Events exist in current workflow due to the environment it was build against)

Hi ,

If you done all step as link below to integrate K2 for sharepoint 2013 compleatly, you will list SP site collection as same my pictiur, as your problem, I think you haven't integated k2 for sharepoint 2013 yet.
