Searching for SharePoint Groups in K2 Designer for SharePoint

Hello K2 Community -

 

We are having an issue in all of our K2 enviroments when searching for SharePoint Groups in the K2 Designer for SharePoint. SharePoint Groups do not resolve in the K2 Designer for SharePoint. Support has stated it could be related to the volume of SharePoint Groups we have in our environment or the reliance on Silverlight. I would greatly appreciate any guidance you would be willing to provide.

 

What are your thoughts? How would you define these? Thank you in advance for your time.

What Control are you using to search for groups?


What is the smartobject bound to the control?


 


Can you attach screenshots of the control data source configurations?

Hello Mustafa - 

 

Sorry for the lack of detail. The context is K2 Designer for SharePoint.

 

That said we already have had a ticket opened and K2 support has determined the issue is related to a combination of the number of groups in our enviornment and the Silverlight component of the K2 Designer for SharePoint . We are waiting for confirmation that this has been addressed in K2 V5 which no longer relies up on Silverlight. Mustafa if you are K2 it would be great to get confirmation. Not sure if you have access to this type of informaiton or not?
