Issue in providing the workspace access for the AD groups

Hi Expert,

 

While we are providing the workspace access(Permissions to view the Management Tab) to the AD groups, The users who are in that AD group are not getting the provided access.

 

But when i check in the UMUser SMO(Get User Groups), The list of the users are upto date.

 

Note: None of the users in the group got the access.

Could u provide where are u adding the permission ?

also could u try adding a specific USER not a GROUP to the permission ? would it work ? or same issue will appear ?

Thanks for your response.

 

We are trying to provide the management console tab access from Security tab.

 

Oh, little bit strange now when we are adding the individual account also, for some accounts it’s not working.

Dear ,

 

There is nothing i would think of other than comparing between the accounts that works for them and the accounts that dont work for them , 

probably check differences in AD , in ur domain .

Hi,

If you are granting Workspace permissions to individual users , then it is expected that the other users which have not been added will not be able to access that particular content. Please have a look at this KB for your reference:
