i want to store a hyperlink in a smartobject field of type hyperlink from a workflow so that it will display properly in a view .
the text function hyperlink returns a string so that doesn't work.
i tried http://www.k2.com,k2 but that does not work either
what is the format required to save the url part and the display name ?

Yes I saw those examples , but I want to store a Hyperlink directly from a workflow , not from a View - is this possible ? Thanks
Hi,
In your workflow, you can use the smartobject method (create method) and pass the hyperlink function (under "Text" in the "Function" tab) into the smart object method, you can also try to use a varaible instead of passing the hyperlink directly into the smart object method.
