Wrong date in exported excel files

hi,

 

I'm using the Export to Excel method on a view. When it exports my list to excel, the dates are different from what is stored in my database. Querying direct from my database shows Belgium time (UTC +1).

I checked my server's timezone and it is on Romance Standard Time (UTC +1)

Your dates are coming into Excel formatted as Text.


 


To convert in Excel, click column for date and change the format to Short Date.


Then select Data|Text to columns and click Finish
