I assume that the K2 server is a member of an AD domain and the K2 Server service is running under some domain account.
Does this service account in AD have the same email address set in the mail attribute?

Hi @BilalAli

You will see that the exception is “Failure sending email” and this is returned from the SMTP server. I see from your connection strings that you are using SMTP O365. Microsoft has deprecated older protocols from connecting to Office 365 which means only TLS 1.2 is accepted: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/prepare-tls-1.2-in-office-365?view=o365-worldwide

Would recommend you check whether TLS 1.2 is enabled on the server as per the KB: https://community.nintex.com/t5/Technical-Issues/K2-and-TLS-1-2-Support/ta-p/124200

You should only need to implement the “Minimum Requirements” registry settings, then do a reboot of the server for the changes to take effect.
