Is there a way in K2 Management to remove a user from a task. We have a task which has multiple users against it, many of whom have been added incorrectly due to a workflow being deployed to live with a mistake in it and these users not being removed.
Rather than wait until the workflow task is completed by the correct person, is there a way in which we can remove the users who do not need to have access to the task so it doesn't show in their inbox?

There is no out of the box way to remove tasks from a user's queue. I would suggest one of two things. You could disable the user's account on Sharepoint so they are no longer able to access SharePoint or anything inside of it. If that isn't possible, you are also able to redirect all of the target user's tasks to another person, and have that person action the tasks to remove them from their queue. For instance, if you redirect all of the tasks that the target user has to yourself, the tasks will no longer be visible for said target user. You can then action the tasks to remove them from your queue.
You can do this by going into K2 Workspace -> Management Console -> WorkLists. Enter the target user's FQDN in the Destination text box and hit search. All of the user's active tasks should appear. You can then select all the tasks by selecting the check boxes, hit the Redirect button at the top and search and choose a user who will receive the task and hit Ok. The selected user should now see all of the previous user's tasks and the previous user should see nothing in their WorkList.
