LDAP User cannot access k2 workflow REST api

Hello, i'm currently having problem to access k2 workflow rest api using an LDAP user account

 

each time i tried to access it, it always ask for login information even after inputted the user account correctly.

i've also check claims and server rights using management site, but there's nothing that indicate something is wrong.

the only assumption i have is that the displayed username displays the email of the LDAP user in Workflow Server Rights causes user unable to login, but i can still access designer/workspace/management with LDAP. is there any solution for this?

To resolve this, you need to add the user under the local security policy. You can navigate here by following this path:


Start menu > Local Security policy > Local Policies > User Rights Management > Log on as Batch Job


When completed, the user should be able to open up the swagger definition as expected.

I did what was instructed, but it seems i can't found the user that i was looking for.

the user listed only from AD and SQL Server

Is there any instruction how to sync OpenLDAP with User Account in windows?

or is there any issue with OpenLDAP connecting to K2?

Check if the user is not disable in identity.identity and active directory. In active directory check all the group the user belong to and if he is not disabled to one of the groups. If he is disabled, enable him.
