K2 workflow stuck loading at 80%

When the workflow is opened in K2 Designer, it starts to load correctly but the loading indicator will hang at 80 percent and not able to work on that.

@Manasa1 ,

Have you tried using a different browsr for the the login? Have you cleared all browser cache, especially in chrome.

Hi  @KagisoMasha ,

I have tried in all ways. I couldn't able to access.

I've had this issue in the past on a development server (twice).  From memory, this is how I resolved each occurence.

1st resolution:

  • Remote onto the K2 Server and restart the K2 Server service

2nd resolution:

  • Issue with the workflow. Within K2 Management, set an earlier version of the Workflow as the Default (you may need to delete the current version of the workflow).
  • Visit the Designer > confirm version has changed and try to edit that Workflow.

Hello  @Manasa1 ,

Thank you for your reponse.

-You can revert back to one of the of the previously deployed versions of the workflow. However this depends on how much change has occurred with the workflow design since that last known working version was deployed, so something to keep in mind. Here to is how to: https://help.k2.com/support-services/kbt143831

You can also have a go at the steps below:

-1.Get the workflow unlocked from your end(may be using script) and Reload it at our end after clearing the cache.

2.Delete the Design Time workflow and re-edit RunTime version(the one you suggested).

3.Sometimes it gets stuck at 80% of loading due to slow network. And works fine on better network connectivity.

-JSON would need to be edited to ease 80% issue. Badging issues need to be worked through by developer etc. I think you would need to log a support ticket with K2 support or consult with your engineers for this technique

All the best.

Good day Manasa1,

Yes, to add on what  @KagisoMasha  has mentioned if clearing the browser cache does not work then deleting the design-time version and reloading the runtime and redeploying it should work.

If it does not work please try using the following troubleshooting steps to look for errors.

(1) F12 developer tools

(2) Host server log

(3) View flow to see where the current version workflow is at.

Should you find it difficult to make use of these troubleshooting steps, please kindly log a support ticket:https://portal.k2.com/ticket/default

Best regards,

Dumisani
