We are planning to upgrade K2 to newer version. We have 2 instances with SQL Server AlwaysOn. Once instance is active node and another is Passive node. Is there we can upgrade one instance at a time withouth impacting the other instance. Basically user doesn't get impacted during upgrade and one instance will be always be working. I am not sure how this works with SQL Server AlwaysOn as database will be syncing

Hi,

Perhaps this KB might help (https://help.k2.com/kb001572).

Hi

Only K2 version 4.7 can be upgraded to K2 Five. Any previous version must first be upgraded to 4.7 before you can upgrade to K2 Five.

If there are any Database Triggers defined for K2 tables in the K2 Database, ensure that the triggers are disabled when performing upgrades. If they are not disabled during the upgrade process, errors will be reported by the K2 Setup Manager. Click Here for more information.
