Hi,

Is possible in K2 Five to embeed an image in a mail notification without downloading id from external source?

In my previous post I asked for this and I got this solution: http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-Five/K2-Five-HTML-Notification/m-p/100906#M155

But this is for embeding external html images.

It is possible in K2 Five to embed as attachment like in this post? http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-Appit/Error-Sending-Images-in-Mail-Body/m-p/97313#M544

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

It looks like this can be done via embed Base64-encode images.

Hi khanh, thanks for your answer.

I'm trying that but it does not seems going to work.

Also i read about most of web mail apps and also outlook does not accept base 64 encoding mails.

Do you know if there is any option to add as cid: attached?

Thanks

Hi,

I tested the scenario from the post that you mentioned and it's working in K2 Five, see video link: http://www.screencast.com/t/mfarlltm2D.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer, we tried using Form Images instead of Sharepoint but always calling Load SmartObject instead of creating a reference. Now we are creating a reference and it seems working perfectly.

Thanks!

Hi

Thank you for your response.

I've tried that hoping that I will finally have image notifications but it doesn't work on my side :/

Have you tried it in K2 5.2 (FP7)?

Best regards and thank you
