I am installing K2 4.7 on a new Windows 2016 server because we have some 4.7 BP processes we need to retain before upgrading to K2 Five
The Setup Manager is at the Configuration Status screen (see attached) but it is excruciatingly slow. The status message stays on Updating: Register_Control_xxxx for several minutes before moving on to the next one. This is very frustrating. What is taking so long?! There is no antivirus running, the server is at 10% CPU, what is it doing?
Any ideas?

You can try closing it and reinstalling, if that fails you can try restarting your VM. Hope this helps.

I am not sure how helpful the Installer Trace logs will be but you might want to have a look at it while the installer is registering each control.
Location: %LOCALAPPDATA%Temp (There should be a K2 Setup Log folder where the logs reside).
