A task is assigned to multiple users, but not all users are required to action the task. When one of the users open the task, the users that opened the task have their task status changed to 'Open', and the other users should have their task's status changed to 'Allocated.' But it is not happening in K2 5.3. Even if one of the users open the task, the user who opened the task have their status chnaged to 'Open' and other users have their task status chnaged to 'Available'
Is there any settings or why the status is not changed to 'Allocated' in K2 5.3?

The fix pack which is mentioned "On redirecting the K2 Workflow task to another user, the incorrect participants are shown in the View Flow diagram: https://help.k2.com/kb002545." refers to a different scenario.
To obtain this Fix Pack from regional support means that you will have to log a Ticket and request it. I'm sorry for not clarifying this from the beginning. Will you please log a ticket for it?

Under How to configure the Form tab > SmartForm > Step 10
There is a rule that gets added called: "Open the Worklist Item"
If you are using a SmartForm, then i would just move that action to a different place, perhaps open it just before the person actions it.
I have installed the Fix Packs in the K2 5.3.
When i go to management,Workflow, click on the my Workflow and go to the TASK list tab, I have assigned a user task to a group. One of the member of the group clicks on the task, it shows the status of the task for this user as 'Open'
While the rest of the members, the status appears as 'Available' only.
How can we restrict the Task being opened by others when a Task has already been opened by someone?

as it describes the symptoms of after opening a task in K2 Workspace, when looking at the task status in K2 Management to see if it has updated from ‘available’ to ‘open’, the task status remains ‘available’. The same thing happens when redirecting the task.
which I think this is the same issue which you are facing, please let me know if this helps or not.
