I have a worflow that sends an email, but I want to send it "as" or "on behalf"  of someone other than K2 service. How do I configure it to do so? I do not want to set the up for all email functions just want to set it up for a workflow activity. I also need to inlude attachements.

Good day KristieCronic

Please look at the following.

Best,

This isn't really answering my question, I have the mailbox already set up for "send as" in exchange what I want to be able to do is to set a from on the send an email activity. How can that be done?

Currently this is not possible in K2 Cloud. Since you are using a SaaS, the email config is provided by K2 and all emails will be delivered by K2 Service.

K2 Cloud will be able to send an email as someone else only if it knows that user's credentials. Today, in K2 Cloud, there is not an option to customize the FROM sender. Please log an idea at https://ideas.k2.com/

Hi KristieCronic,

Do you have access to MS Flow i.e. power automate now? You could initiate the send as by kicking off a ms flow workflow from k2.

Hi bhickok2,

Can you provide details on how to initiate kicking off a workflow in PowerAutomate from K2?

Apparently K2 with Power Autmoate connector only works for Public sector.

Power AutomateStandardAll Power Automate regions except the following:
     -   US Government (GCC)
     -   US Government (GCC High)

Kristie,

So is your MS Environment hosted in the US Government Cloud?

If I understand correctly, those are the only Azure datacenters where the K2 connector will not work.

I believe that as long as you are not in US Government Cloud, you should be able to use the Preview K2 Connector in MS Power Automate. If you are in US GCC, I would strongly encourage you to log an enhancement request on ideas.k2.com for future consideration.

Thanks, and regards,

Gail
