How do I handle hidden actions on the form? WHat is the best way to do this, are there any tips of tricks anyone could provide?

Could you provide some more details on the scenario? It sounds like you want to hide the action on the worklist for Smartforms solution. If this is the case, there is a couple ways to do this.
-Disable ability to see the action in the workflow task step.
-Configure the setting via the Management page (Management > Users > Workspace Settings).
