I have a text as a hyperlink, so when a user clicks the hyperlink a subview should open. I have tried this but no luck. Is there a way I can achieve this. Thanks

What I want to achieve is when a user clicks on the hyperlink, then open a subview and than configure etc. I've looked at this link Hyperlink to open subform but its not what I'm looking for because the last response refers the user to SP and I'm using a list view.
