Changing 'Email From' name in a Workflow

I really do not like that ALL workflow emails come from K2 Service.  Some customers have no idea who it is, and internal staff find it vague and difficult to sort through.'

 

Anybody have any suggestions on how to change this?  We looked at posting to our MSSQL database and sending email that way, but the lack of an HTML editor or easy way to pass HTML to a variable in a workflow makes it too cumbersome.

Hey camens,

You will be able to change this using your setup manager. Pick the first option "configure" and then go all the way to mail integration (Exchange/ SMTP) and type in the desired email address from which emails are sent from.

Where do you find setup manager in K2 Cloud?

Hello Camens,

I was assuming you are on-prem. In K2 cloud, you will need to request the change by logging a ticket to K2. K2 operations may be able to make the changes for you.

In the ticket, you will have to provide them with your environment KUID, and the account username/email that you desire to send emails from in your workflow.
