Hi

does anyone know if it is possible to change the originator. Through a migration I had to restart a workflow and the task went to me instead of the actual originator.

I know about using a field in the form, but just wanted to ask if this is possible?

Hi CraigBook

I just reproduce the issue, please see below setting it seem like the issue is cause by K2 management settings

1) login usig admin rights account and add the person who need right to the workflow  on management  (e.g Barry)

under GeneralNotification.WorkFlow.sendNotification

Note: You can add many users to start the workflow and receive notification on management

Should you find the information from the article useful or leading you to the answer please mark as "Solution and/or Kudo", as it will assist other k2 developers with relevant information in the near future.

Good day CraigBrook

I am assuming you are talking about the workflow task item. To change the recipient of the task you can access your workflow and on the task step, you can change the recipient:

If this post answers your question please remember to mark it as a solution or Kudo.

Kind Regards

Do you have a working url to the solution?  The k2 link doesn't work anymore.

Thanks.

Try this

PS: I don't really like the solution though. Many things can go wrong with direct db manipulation and its not supported. My recommendation would be to open a support case.
