Um i have a Question. I want to do something like this, Should a task be on a workdesk and it has been actioned, i want it to leave the workdesk immediately.
i have the tasked assigned to 2 people, the task sends notification to their Emails. hence should it be actioned by one of them, since it has been treated, i wouldn't want it to remain in the Workdesk of the second , How can this be done
Do i have to select this so that once the action is approved by one of them , it goes off the Workdesk?

If I am interpreting your requirement correctly, selecting the option "First Response" should do the trick. This means that the task is complete once the first response/action is made. First Response actions , but it remains on the desk of the second approver.
Here is what i mean
There are two who would approve a task and when one actually approves the task, its suppose to leave the workdesk tray and none of them should see the task since it has been approved , rejected etc.

Just to confirm, after changing the Task Result Rule to use the First Response, did you redeploy the workflow and tested with a new instance?
