Our users have reported that they have been seeing some hangs and general performance related issues w/ our K2 system. When I looked on the server, I noticed that the K2Hostserver.exe was consuming 886 MB of memory and the IIS Worker Process was consuming 1.26 GB of memory (total memory consumption on server was 63%). I also noticed that the K2 Process had over 7000 established connections (via netstat). Would someone be available to assist me in troubleshooting this, as it appears that sessions/processes may not be closing down properly.
Resolution
3rd Party WCF Services are not closing out the connections they are grabbing. Types of connections: TIME_WAIT vs. ESTABLISHED. Here are some discussions on properly closing out connections:
