Symptoms

On the workflow activity has been specified? condition, when trying to configure it, the error: There are no items to display. Either the activity has been removed, or is available on a non-default version of the process, or you do not have the required process rights to view it. As a result, this condition or action cannot be configured.? is displayed.

Diagnoses

When a workflow is created using K2 Studio and placed within a folder in the project and deployed, there is a rule created as part of the SmartForms Integration with "a workflow activity has been specified" condition. In 4.7 it is now possible to configure this Condition. The (configure) screen displays an error and cannot be configured if the Workflow is in a sub-folder in a project.

Resolution

The issue has been logged as a new bug for the developers to investigate.

It would appear that if a workflow is placed within a sub-folder in a project, the issue with the "a workflow activity has been specified? condition will occur.

The workaround for this issue is to move the workflow to the root of the project and to not place it in a sub-folder.

Redeploy the workflow and remap any Rule conditions to this workflow.

Good Afternoon,

Any updates on this item?  I submitted a ticket to support with this exact issue.

Is there a resolution for "In-Flight" processes?  we have quite a few hundred of them mapped to processes in folders and we have validated that mapping the forms to the updated workflow(the one outside the folder) doesn't open the correct workflow activity instance.

Best Regards,

Edgar
