Symptoms
K2 Management truncates leading zeros of data field values when new instances are created
Diagnoses
- create a workflow with a data field of type string (string, not number!)
- launch an instance with K2 Management and enter the value "005" into the data field
=> K2 Management tries to be clever and truncates the value to "5" which is then passed to the data field
- do the same with workspace
=> works and the data field has the original value of "005"00
Seems that K2 Management ignores the data type of the process data field and converts values to numbers if the value looks like a number. So 005 becomes 5 whereas 05 remains 05 if done from workspace.
