Symptoms
I am trying to check the current user are the specific group of member in Active Directory by using AD Service2's GetGroupByUser method.
When I try to add filter in Rules to check name exist in the list or not, its give me the error of object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Diagnoses
This is a known issue. In 4.7, AD Service2's GetGroupByUser method can return "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error even when using a valid AD group name.
Resolution
Please contact K2 Support for coldfix if you encounter the same issue after upgrading to 4.7.
