4.7 K2 Designer - Workflow data fields unexpectedly removed from the UI




Symptoms


How the problem was encountered:-
1. Configure the "start a workflow" rule
2. In the workflow input screen, you will see the folio and priority fields are shown as expected
3. After clicking other fields, the fields suddenly disappear from the UI
4. After closing the screen, you will realize that the fields are moved to the K2 Designer left panel under

Diagnoses


In a start a workflow rule, when areas outside of the process data field label is clicked, the folio and priority fields are removed.

This is a display issue. In the backend, the data input is still saved.

Resolution

This issue has been logged as a bug to be fixed in a future release.

A workaround would be to add the data to the 'Specify workflow' fields first before configuring the workflow data fields.
